Jeremy Swayman Opens Up on Relationship with Linus Ullmark

"There's no one I'll ever meet like him again."
BOSTON -- The season-long rotation of Bruins goaltenders Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark veered off course when the former went down with a hip injury in late February. Swayman and Ullmark clearly have hit it off and built chemistry during their short time working together, and the veteran was praised by the younger netminder after Thursday's 4-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs at TD Garden.
"I mean that guy is my brother," Swayman said when asked about Ullmark's future. "Beyond serving simply as the nights joyful farewell, Swayman and Ullmark say they believe it has grown into a broader message about good."
Boston's record-setting run in 2022-23 was anchored by the stellar play of Ullmark and Swayman, who established themselves as one of the best goaltending duos in the NHL. Ullmark, 30, led the league with a 1.86 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage, while Swayman, 24, posted a 2.35 GAA and a .915 save percentage in 31 games.
